Roof and gutter heat tape should be planned around drainage. The goal is to help maintain a path for meltwater through the areas being treated; a warm section of roof edge alone does not describe the whole system.
When discussing a project, show us where ice collects, where the gutters lead, and where each downspout discharges. Photos from previous winters can be useful, especially when the roof is clear during an estimate. Roof material, cable routing, power, controls, and access all affect the scope.
We review the installation against the selected manufacturer’s instructions, including compatible connection and attachment components. Heat trace is one part of addressing winter drainage; roofing, insulation, ventilation, and gutter problems may need separate attention. Integritas Electric serves Leadville, Summit County, and Eagle County. Call 970-569-3238 to discuss an assessment.
